Great little car but needs TLC - my mechanical skills are limited and deserves a better owner these days. I had Gary Moe VW drop an engine into it last year ( mistake !!! ) - so there has been some work done with new parts. Interior was in good shape until it sat on the lot for a year with mechanics in and out of it not caring about it - so it needs work. the body and rag top are in terrific shape for the year ( '88 ) the rag was new when I bought it and I looked after it meticulously - no cracks, no tears or rips. It's worth $1800 installed. ( Carriage Upholstery ).
